White Pikmin make their first appearence in Pikmin 2 where they are found only in caves. White Pikmin are 1 of the 2 types of Pikmin that can only be produced by the Candypop Bud. The other is the Purple Pikmin that can be produced by the same way.
[edit] Abilities
White Pikmin can as well survive an element and they are the living embodiment of that same element known as poison. Now this becomes useful when there is a "Poison Gate" that is blocking your way in the game or the smaller "Poison Pipes" that produce the toxic fume infinetly. White Pikmin also have the ability to poison other creatures in the game if eaten. This especially comes in handy if you cannot figure out how to kill a creature and if the creatures eats them. White Pikmin also have the ability to "see" underground and dig up some treasure.
