Nectar exists in both Pikmin games, Pikmin and Pikmin 2, and is used for turning non-planted leaf or bud Pikmin into Flower Pikmin. You can make quite a few Pikmin drink Nectar at once, though once it has been drunk it does not reappear. There are several different places were Nectar can be found, including Eggs, Iridescent Flint Beetles, Nectar Grass and Mitites (when killed). In Pikmin 2, when petrified enemies are defeated they leave no corpse, but may drop a dose of Nectar (or sprays).
